Erin Abbey is the founder of Abbey Communications Group, a senior advisory firm specializing in strategic internal communications, change management, and executive communications for complex organizations.

With 20+ years leading enterprise communications across healthcare, life sciences, and mission-driven organizations, Erin has served as a direct strategic advisor to CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, CHROs, and General Counsel during large-scale transformation, crisis, and cultural evolution. She has led communications strategy for organizations with 140,000+ employees and guided workforces through ERP modernization, M&A integration, organizational restructuring, and cybersecurity response.

Her approach is architectural, not transactional. She builds communications systems, messaging frameworks, and leader enablement strategies designed to create clarity at scale. Whether advising a single executive or shaping enterprise-wide change communications, she brings the same discipline: simplify complexity without diluting substance.

Before founding Abbey Communications Group, Erin held senior leadership roles at Ascension, AbbVie, GCI Health, Adtalem Global Education, Baxter International, and Advocate Health Care.

She holds an M.A. in Organizational and Multicultural Communication from DePaul University and is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. She has built custom AI-powered communications tools and brings technology-forward approaches to communications architecture, content systems, and workflow design.
